Barack and Michelle Obama have paid shifting tributes to their private chef who drowned whereas paddleboarding in eight toes of water close to their Martha’s Winery house.
Sharing a photograph of himself and the previous first girl with tragic Tafari Campbell on Instagram, the previous president wrote: ‘Tafari Campbell confirmed us what true character appears like.
‘He believed that actions converse louder than phrases. And he used his immense items to deliver folks collectively, present consolation, and unfold pleasure. I’ll miss him each day.’
Michelle shared the same snap of herself posing with Campbell and Obama within the White Home, and wrote: ‘I’ll miss my pal, Tafari…the vacancy is tough. However I promise to remain sturdy, maintain residing, and honor your legacy in each means doable. Relaxation in peace, my brother.’
Campbell was discovered lifeless near the Obamas’ Martha’s Winery house on July 25.
He had served as their private chef within the White Home, and left to proceed working with the couple on the finish of Obama’s second time period in 2016.
