A federal decide dismissed a counterclaim by former President Donald Trump within the defamation case leveled in opposition to him by E. Jean Carroll on Monday.
Choose Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District of New York dismissed Trump’s claims that Carroll made false statements throughout the case that broken his status.
Carroll was awarded $5 million in Might in an identical case in opposition to Trump after a jury discovered that Trump had sexually abused Carroll in 1996 after which defamed her in 2022.
