LONG BEACH, Calif. — Two ladies had been killed and three others had been injured in a ship hearth Saturday in Lengthy Seashore’s Alamitos Bay, authorities mentioned.
Firefighters responded to the 200-block of Marina Dive after the fireplace erupted round 5 p.m. Authorities mentioned the boat was at a fueling dock.
“A 35′ pleasure craft was effectively concerned with hearth upon the arrival of fireplace division items. The hearth occurred in shut proximity to the gasoline dock close to Hearth Station 21,” in accordance with the Lengthy Seashore Hearth Division.

Clouds of thick black smoke and flames poured from the boat as firefighters arrived to battle the blaze.
Authorities confirmed two ladies of their 60s died, and three others – two males and a girl – had been hospitalized with burn accidents.
Lengthy Seashore firefighters extinguished the blaze with assist from the Orange County Hearth Authority.
The boat was destroyed by the fireplace. Investigators are analyzing the charred vessel to find out what went mistaken.
